Performance Archives

Each year, we sponsor two or more SongShop Live group concerts built around a single theme. Each theme, such as Life at Home, Promise Me…, Dream a Little Dream, Flying, The Dr. Ruth Show, ties together our vast repertoire and song genres.

Since 2013, we’ve also produced Solo Sets featuring a smaller number of singers in concert. The SongShop Salon series brings a select group of performers to private homes for intimate house concerts. We welcome your interest to host a Salon concert. Singers and pianists who have joined our performances are listed at the Talent Roster.

Testimonials

“As a participant in last night’s “SongShop” performance at Cyrano’s, I want to express my appreciation to Claudia Hommel for a wonderful class and a terrific performance opportunity. We had the most generous and engaged audience, and it was so much fun to witness one another’s achievements and passion for performing.” —Michelle Greenberg, professional singer-pianist

“Thanks to all of you for co-creating what was really an unbelievably special nite!! Its amazing how great it turned out. Everyone was at their best and lots of people commented to me how lucky we are to be a part of such a group. Our connections with each other, and our mutual support and respect came through even for people just watching the show. I do indeed feel very lucky to have found you all.” —Ruth Fuerst

“(Claudia) personally arranged for our opportunities to perform in public and considered that a crucial yardstick for measuring progress. In less than 9 months, I never felt better about performance!” —Beverly Opelka, classical singer
